If you like a bit of Dutch culture at your wedding, it is nice to have the bike come back. Not only do bicycles fit well with our country, but they are also nice and sustainable! Bikes go well with any type of shoes too – it could be a groom in tennis shoes or the bride in Men’s Working Boots.

How do you go to the wedding yourself?

On the bike of course! You can both take your own bike or romantically jump on a tandem together. Be careful with your wedding dress, because cycling in such a huge piece of fabric is not that easy! A short wedding dress is then a good solution. Also, don’t forget to have nice photos taken of you by bike (s)!

Decorate your Bike for that special day!

As a welcome to the guests, you can park a beautifully decorated bicycle. For example with a basket of flowers or a nice plate on it. At your wedding, you can also use bicycles as a guide. Hang on it signs with the different directions that guests can go to for example the ceremony, the reception or the party.

As a decoration, you can also use a small bicycle with flowers in it. This is nice to put on the tables during dinner. You can even have the bike come back on the wedding cake, as an original topper! Very nice if it is personalized with your names in it.
