One very simple thing that you can do is doing random act of kindness towards your partner. When doing such thing, it is best that you plan for everything. Jot down what you are about to do and cross out the deed as soon as it is done.

Be Comfortable on Finances

There was never a perfect moment to talk about money. So as you are mustering the courage to discuss this with your wife, reserve at least few things when having a discussion about your budget. This doesn’t indicate that you will not be keeping track of her spending. It is just that you are not keeping secrets with each other and you are valuing her ideas and working out on a decision as a team.
